Police raid TTY in search for gunman who shot protestors in Kratie

    • PHNOM PENH  - Police raided the office of TTY Co in Phnom Penh's Chamkarmon district Saturday in search of the gunman who shot four Kratie residents in a land dispute last month, sources said.

    The sources said TTY security guards were seen being forced into police vehicles, although the number was not clear since police closed the gates.

    In mid-January, TTY guards opened fire on about 400 residents of Snoul who were protesting against the company for bulldozing their crops. TTY has a land concession for planting rubber trees.
