Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 hits Verizon

Back at CES 2012 last month, we managed to sneak in a couple of shots of the (then new) Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, where there was no concrete date as to when it will arrive in the market. Well, we have word now that Verizon Wireless will be making available the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 this coming March 1st, which frankly, is just a couple of days away when you think about it. Just to recap, you will be able to find a refresher list on just what the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 packs right after the jump.

It will obviously play nice with the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network for speedy data transfer, and you can be sure that the 1.4 GHz dual-core processor is going to help you breeze through all your programs without slowing down. Browsing is a snap thanks to the built-in HTML 5 Web browser, and you can also use the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 as your portable entertainment system, thanks to its 7.7″ Super AMOLED Plus display at 1280 x 800 resolution. While it does not run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, it will come with the tablet-centric Android 3.2 Honeycomb operating system. A 3.2-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash is accompanied by a 2-megapixel camera in front, where you can expand on the 16GB of internal memory with a microSD memory card.

It will cost you $499.99 with a new 2-year contract, and you would be advised by Verizon to ride on a monthly 4G LTE mobile broadband data package in order to maximize the effectiveness of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7.
