Samsung Series 5 announced price Ultrabook

Samsung has officially launched a series of local market Ultrabook laptops called Series 5, with the size 14 inch version and 13 inch. In particular, it is the first model in the world ultrabook more integrated optical drive. Ultrabook 5 Series is equipped with Intel Core i5 processor and comes with optional solid state drive or hard disk HDD with capacities of up to 1TB (1.000GB) for the product, and 8GB of RAM provide performance high rates.

Samsung Series 5 Ultrabook Launched in Korea

For sample 14 inch Series 5 Ultrabook size and high density point of it is 20.9mm thick, weighs 1.8kg heavy compared to the conventional Ultrabook. Outer shell may be coated with aluminum, while the screen resolution is 1366 x 768 pixel anti-glare technology that allows more visible in low light conditions outdoors.
In addition, the Samsung Series 5 Ultrabook also comes with a hybrid drive SSD 16 GB + 1 TB HDD, optical drive and HD7550M AMD GPU, support for USB, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, VGA and HDMI.


Version Ultrabook 13-inch Series 5 is thinner than the size 14 inch version, it is 14.9 mm thick, weighing 1.4 kg and comes with a display at a resolution similar to version 14 inch with the anti-glare coating, hybrid drive 16 GB SSD + 500 GB HDD, Intel integrated graphics with USB ports, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, VGA and HDMI.

According to South Korean manufacturers said ExpressCache features were used on samples Ultrabook, allowing users to boot from Hiberate mode (hibernation) in about 7 seconds. Fast Start feature (Quick Start) by Samsung that allows the computer to boot from Sleep mode to the main screen within 2 seconds.


Reportedly, Samsung Series 5 Ultrabook will be available in the Korean market this late in December, with different prices ranging from $ 1,125 to $ 1,298 for the 13 inch version, and 1,167 to $ 1,341 for the version Ultrabook 14 inch.
