  • PHNOM PENH (Cambodia Herald) -  Twelve Cambodians trafficked to Indonesia were scheduled to return to Cambodia on Tuesday, foreign ministry spokesman Koy Kuong said.

The ministry worked with the Cambodian ambassador to Indonesia and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) to rescue the 12 who were tricked into working on Thai fishing vessels for several years, he said.

The 12 were among 65 rescued by the Indonesian government after being found on the Thai boats.
