  • PHNOM PENH (CEN) - Chan Kosal, a former assistant to Senate president Chea Sim now serving a four-year prison sentence for fraud, asked the Phnom Penh Court Thursday for a delay in his court appearance due to high blood pressure.

Chan Kosal was recently found guilty of being involved in $500 million Malaysian investment scam. He now faces another charge of issuing a check for $90,000 and on January 19 was subpoenaed for questioning.
