PHNOM PENH (Cambodia Herald) - A Malaysian volunteer group is collecting used underwear to donate to needy people in Cambodia and Vietnam, a Malaysian newspaper reported Monday.

The Star quoted a report in the Chinese-language Guang Ming Daily as saying that the group, Pertubuhan Amal Seri Sinar,  was promoting recycling for charity.

“We could not get supplies of new undergarments. But the used ones serve as delightful and essential gifts to those in need,” founder Cheng Liang reportedly said.
