Two dead, seven poisoned by chemicals

PHNOM PENH (Cambodia Herald) - Two people have died and seven others have been severely poisoned while picking vegetables in a field in Svay Rieng province, sources said.  The incident occurred in Rormea Hek district on Wednesday and prompted provincial health department officials to examine the field. They confirmed that the deaths were caused by toxic substances.  The two dead were identified as Ros Leap, 33, and Svay Rin, 46. The seven poisoned were taken to Svay Rieng Hospital.
