Sam Rainsy Party lawyer returns to work after month meditating

    • PHNOM PENH - Opposition Sam Rainsy Party lawyer Choung Chou Ngy said Tuesday he had returned to work after a month meditating.

    “I feel fresh and relaxed after meditating for a month and I am ready to appear at the Bar Association and the Kandal Provincial Court,” he told reporters.

    Choung Chou Ngy is accused of helping free a man detained in the Kandal provincial prison, and is summoned to appear in court on February 13. He is also charged by the Bar Association of violating Article 15 of the professional code.
