The days of broken nails, ugly hangnails and chipping nail varnish are truly behind us.
From nail polishes that have unique ingredients to amazing acrylic nails, there is a nail revolution happening that can make your hands look beautiful, no matter what trauma you’ve subjected them to. With more and more women busy in the workplace spending most of their time tapping on a computer keyboard or other electronic device and then, coming back home to do household chores, their nails are often brittle and unattractive. They don’t have the time to visit a salon either. Thankfully, today, there are several solutions in sight for this problem.
Acrylic nails are now the hot favourite among those who want pretty nails in a hurry. There are many colours, designs and textures to choose from in the acrylic range, but you can choose other kinds of artificial nails too. The different kinds of artificial nails include acrylics, silk, linen and fibreglass wraps and the sculptured nail. You have to decide which will suit your environment best. Besides nail paint to dress up an acrylic nail, salon professionals are using glitter, diamantes, stickers, 3D holograms, rhinestones and so much more. This nail manicure will last for a month or sometimes even longer, if you look after your nails well.

Right now, the animal print designs, either on the entire nail or only on the tip are very hot and happening. Designs painted only on one side of the nail is another way of dressing up an acrylic nail. The floral manicure with attachments of dried flowers or painted blooms are very trendy too. The ‘stiletto’ acrylic nails are usually painted in dark colours, alternating with pastels that look futuristic and chic. Just make sure that they don’t resemble talons. Acrylic nails can only be done by professionals and in a reputed salon.
Though acrylic nails look very attractive, they need to be taken care of well too. Experts suggest that those who have acrylic nails should wash their hands with anti-bacterial soap, use rubber gloves while doing chores, swab nails with alcohol every night to dab away the bacteria and above all, keep them dry to prevent the formation of fungus.
Those who don’t want to go in for acrylic nails can opt for the different kinds of nail polishes that are available today. Some come with fast drying chemicals, some with ultra shine and some with silicone to prevent scratches and breakages on the nail surface.
Beautiful nails are only a few steps to the salon away. Don’t settle for anything less!
