HP adopted ambitious alternative Android by WebOS

IOS operating system is a closed, while Android is too fragmented, so that HP is still a chance for them to replace Android, the OS become the most popular mobile world.

CEO of HP - Meg Whitman recommended that users should be prepared psychologically to say goodbye to the open source operating system Android.

Speaking ahead of the partners in Las Vegas on Wednesday (15/2) past, the CEO of HP - Meg Whitman has proposed a bold idea, emphasizing the prospects of an open source operating system WebOS to Android replace current location.

Ms. Whitman said that WebOS is facing a big advantage to "own garden" become the leading operating system in the world compared to iOS and Android. "I think there is still room for a new operating system".

"IOS is a great operating system, but it is a closed system code, while Android will quickly fall into a similar situation after the Google acquisition of Motorola," Ms. Whitman said.

The acquisition of Motorola's Google has been approved by the U.S. and EU managers earlier this week.Therefore, many people believe that this transaction will cause major impact on the future of the Android operating system.

Google had previously assured that the hardware manufacturer, Motorola acquisition will not affect the development of open source operating system Android. However, with the company cherishes great intentions of developing a series of new generation products branded Google to compete with Apple, Android's future remains a question mark.

Before that, WebOS each face the risk of death due to failure to compete with iOS and Android. However, turning it into an open operating system may be a new direction, bringing success to a prince PC.
