Cambodia’s football Federation announced that the Samdech PM Hun Sen Football Cup 2012 will kick off on January 7 to join with the 33rd anniversary of removing Khmer Rouge regime (1975-1979) from power in 1979.
The federation said: the championship this year will be received at least $25, 000 award cash and last year, Preah Khan Reach” Royal Sword” controlled the championship.
This year, 19 football clubs will participate the tournament. Mr. Nuoy Dary, a Khmer coach for the Phnom Penh crown football club said: “we hope we could win this year,”. Eng Dy, spokesman for Phnom Penh said: actually we want to win but now our team released nine players. “Even though we want to win, we need to wait and see for Samdech PM Hun Sen cup this year,”.
