Teacher charged for stabbing ex-wife who refused to have sex

    • PHNOM PENH - Phnom Penh Municipal Court detained a teacher on Wednesday and charged him for severely injuring his former wife when he stabbed her after she refused to have sex with him.

    The teacher was identified as Chhun Phanna, 43, from Tea Chom Rat High School in Sam Pov Meas district in Pursat province. The victim was Luy Kim Hong, a 33-year-old hairdresser and photographer.

    Prosecutor Hor Dina said that the defendant would be sentenced to between two and five years in jail if found guilty.
