US, Cambodia to launch campaign against fake drugs next week

    • PHNOM PENH (Cambodia Herald) - The United States Embassy and the Ministry of Health will launch a national campaign next week to raise awareness of the dangers of counterfeit and sub-standard medications, the embassy said Wednesday.

    In a statement, the embassy said the campaign launch next Monday would be presided over by Chargé d’Affaires Jeff Daigle and Chou Yin Sim, secretary of state at the Ministry of Health.

    The launch will unveil a specially-designed poster to be displayed in pharmacies across Cambodia and the winning slogan from a nationwide contest that attracted over 2,000 entries, it said.
