  • PHNOM PENH (Herald) -  Thai police told Cambodia Thursday that they would temporarily block the international border crossing at Chong Sa Ngam in Anlong Veng district, Oddar Meanchey province, if Cambodian vendors came within 20 meters of the border, sources said.

Touch Ra, chief of border relations at Chong Sa Ngam, said the Thai sold told vendors to stay at least 40 meters from the border.

Sources said the border closed for a short period but reopened after Touch Ra persuaded the Thai police patrol to reopen it for business.
