Veterans to receive payments through Canadia Bank

    • PHNOM PENH (Cambodia Herald) – Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Men Sam An has advised the Ministry of Social Affairs, Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation that the government will soon start making transfers to veterans through Canadia Bank.

    “The government has carried out many tasks in social affairs with social and health services being expanded, especially for children, amputees and vulnerable people,” she told an assembly at the ministry on Tuesday.

    Despite these achievements, Social Affairs Minister Ith Sam Heng, said: "Many challenges remain including natural disasters which affect people's livelihoods."
